CFO recently received a grant to support those we serve on Route 1 in Alexandria from the Greater Washington Community Foundation. The grant, titled a VoicesDMV Community Action Award, will pay for 20 participants to get their GED’s, will pay for employment materials and workshop development, and will purchase a video camera used to tape individuals as they participate in practice job interviews. This will help them develop self-awareness and identify areas of improvement needed to make a great impression on future employers. We are honored. Thank you!
