Winter Clothing Drive – Help Us Spread Warmth This Season
The Centers for Opportunity (CFO) and Sandy Spring Bank® are excited to partner for a Winter Clothing Drive, collecting essential items to support individuals and families in need during the colder months. Together, we can make a difference in our community!
What We’re Collecting:
We welcome donations of new or gently used adult-sized winter essentials:
- Winter Coats: All sizes, gently used or new.
- Hats: Warm and durable, wool or fleece preferred.
- Gloves and Mittens: Insulated and waterproof options are best.
- Scarves: Thick and cozy.
- Socks: Thermal or wool socks that fit comfortably in shoes.
- Sweaters and Hoodies: Ideal for layering.
- Thermal Underwear: Both tops and bottoms.
- Blankets: Heavy and warm for extra comfort.
- Boots: Winter boots in a variety of sizes.
- Hand Warmers: Disposable or reusable options.
- Thermal Sleeping Bags: Essential for extreme weather conditions.
When to Donate:
Donations will be accepted through January 15, 2025.
