CFO Merrifield offers a range of services to support the community including:

EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE

We provide support on your employment journey. We invite you to take advantage of our services to find the job you are searching for. Our employment services efforts are multi-tiered and include –

– Support from Employment Specialists: Collaborate with our specialists to explore job opportunities. Make an appointment today.

– Resume Help: Receive personalized assistance in creating or improving your resume.

– Workforce Development opportunities: We provide workshops and training to enhance job skills.

– Referrals: Connect with local employers and job placement agencies.

– Access to Technology: Each center has a computer lab with a printer and offers landline access for individuals to reach prospective employers or for personal use.

ACCESS TO BENEFITS

We connect individuals to available safety net services such as food, medical benefits, housing, dental care, and other essentials.

PEER SUPPORT

We provide one-on-one opportunities with trained peer support specialists who have experienced what you are going through. Our team offers encouragement, inspiration, and self-advocacy tools to help you progress and grow. We also offer peer-led support groups on topics that matter to you. We also offer field trips and other activities.

WELLNESS AND RECOVERY

We provide daily activities to encourage personal growth and healing. These include activities such as art projects, journaling sessions, games, music, and other fun programs. We also offer holiday parties and birthday celebrations.

VIRTUAL GROUP SUPPORT

At our centers during the day, there are opportunities to participate in group activities with attendees at our other four centers. It offers a unique way to meet your neighbors in recovery in Northern Virginia.
