It’s A Brand New Day!

Just eight weeks ago, we embarked on an exciting new adventure as Recovery Program Solutions of Virginia transformed into Centers For Opportunity (CFO)! Our new name reflects our expanded mission, and the journey has been nothing short of thrilling for both staff and participants.

At CFO, we’re dedicated to meeting people wherever they are in their life journey and helping them move forward to achieve their personal and professional goals using our Five Pillars of Success. Our centers across Arlington and Fairfax County serve as vital hubs where individuals can go to receive free support.

Our Five Pillars of Success:

  1. Basic Needs – Ensuring access to essentials like food, medical care, and housing for participants in need.
  2. Peer Support – Led by our fantastic team, focusing on one-on-one and group support from others who have experienced similar life challenges (e.g., mental health).
  3. Wellness and Recovery – Promoting holistic health, based on the Eight Dimensions of Wellness created by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
  4. Employment Services – Assisting individuals with professional goals, including job searches, resume building, and training opportunities.
  5. Virtual Programs – Offering online support for those who need or prefer virtual assistance.

By focusing on these Five Pillars, CFO helps participants achieve stability and success. The excitement for our new direction is palpable—big things are happening, so stay tuned!
